Neighbours Luncarty came to town in the 2nd Round of the Alex Jack Cup. An injury time header from Calum Leadbeatter saved Burgh and took the tie to penalties. Unforunately Round 1 heroics against Luncarty's Perth neighbours Kinnoull couldn't be repeated and the visitors were victors in the shoot-out.
