Burgh looked to continue their encouraging start to the campaign with the visit of Second Division Edinburgh College in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup 1st Round match at East Shore Park. Goals from Cammy Taylor, a double from Andrew McCallion and substitute Finn Bannerman gave the hosts a 4-0 lead before the visitors pulled back two consolation goals late on. Bannerman removed any doubt in stoppage time with his second of the game.
