Newburgh Juniors wish to thank a number of players who are leaving the club at the end of season.
Striker Andrew McCallion and midfielder Owen McCallion are set to move on from East Shore Park at the end of their contracts.
Andrew netted an incredible 41 goals in 50 appearances since his debut in February 2025 after coming on as substitute in the 4-0 win over Livingston United.
During the 2025/26, he adopted the captain’s armband along with penalty duties and finished the season with 35 goals.

Midfielder Owen made his senior Burgh debut at the tender age of 17 years, 2 months and 30 days coming on as a sub in the home match against Thornton Hibs.
The young man never looked out of place and his consistency, hard work and versatility saw him amass 75 appearances with 4 goals.

We thank both Andrew and Owen for their dedication and immense contributions during their time at the club and wish them every success for the future.
Winger Ryan Heatherill also leaves the club to return to his parent club following his loan spell. Ryan made 8 appearances during his loan spell and we thank him for his efforts and wish him well moving forward.
