Newburgh Juniors are pleased to welcome back defender Johnny Malcolm to East Shore Park.
Johnny is a 30-year-old versatile player who can play in a number of positions. With a wealth of experience, he is a player who leads by example, defends well and is a vocal player whose knowledge will be essential in helping organise his team mates.

In his previous spell with the club, Malcolm had notched up 21 starts with a further 3 substitute appearances.

Manager Andy Healy is delighted with Johnny joining the club and said: “Johnny is a player everyone at the club knows very well and is very well respected having played for the club before.

Continuing, he added: “He is a player who brings lots of experience, his attitude and application is an example for any player to follow and he will be brilliant for the young squad we have to learn from.

Healy finished by saying: “He is a player who organises really well and leads by example in training and in games and it’s great to have him with us at the club.”
