Newburgh Juniors FC can announce that the club has parted company with Manager Andy Healy.

We want to sincerely thank Andy for his hard work and commitment over the past few seasons.

Everyone at the club wishes him the very best for the future.

In the interim, coaches Steven Perrie and Conor Caldwell will take charge of the team.

Healy started his Burgh management career in March 2024 for the League Cup visit of Preston Athletic.

The club were attempting to come out of a difficult period in the Club’s history, and with Andy’s work, this has helped guided stability within the squad and astute eye for young talent.

That eye for youth has seen the current names of Finn Bannerman, Ryan Daly, Callum Roughead, Cammy Newsome and Cammy Taylor, among others, as well as developing players like Andrew and Owen McCallion, CJ Thomson, Logan Whyte, Scott Kyles and Matty Mitchell – among others.

Along with that, Healy supplemented that with some more ‘senior’ heads like Tam Hampson, Ronnie Martin, Willie Laing, Calum Geddes etc.

Andy has worked tirelessly throughout his time at the club in his search for success and has assembled a good squad that has much more to offer for the club and future development.

The tail end of last season proved a tough experience with a challenging end to the season. Despite an opening day win, the League form hasn’t been what many would hope for a variety of reasons and it was felt it was time for a change.

The club recognise and thank Andy for his hard work and efforts during his time and wish him every success in whatever next role provides.
