After a bright and sharp start, Burgh opened the scoring in the 20th minute when Andrew McCallion capitilised on a mistake in the Sauchie defence to fire past the keeper.

Four minutes later McCallion added his second after great work on the left by new signing Nichita Cotorobai saw his cut back side footed home.

With the exercise primarily getting minutes in the legs of as many of the squad as possible, wholesale changes at half time but there was no let up in the Burgh tempo and in the 67th minute an excellent cross from the right by Calum Geddes was headed home well by Trialist.

It was an encouraging work out for Burgh against a very good Sauchie side. We wish Sauchie all the best for the new season.
